Seattle Fish Company is proud to announce that The Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) has selected our company as winner of the “Outstanding Allied Partner” award in its annual Industry Spotlight Awards.
“We are thrilled that Seattle Fish Co. & Gourmet Provisions was honored with the Colorado Restaurant Association’s Allied Partner Signature Dish award this year,” says Sonia Riggs, President and CEO of the CRA. “Not only has Seattle Fish been a trusted local supplier for more than 100 years, but the company has supported CRA members and the association itself time and again. Colorado restaurants and the CRA are lucky to have a partner like Seattle Fish in our corner.”
According to the CRA, the Industry Spotlight Awards is ”the only awards program for Colorado’s hospitality community that celebrates contributions at all levels of the industry, from back-of-house employees and bartenders to managers and chefs. Awards are given to honor individuals and hospitality partners who serve as outstanding mentors and allies, contributing to the community in myriad ways and pushing the Colorado dining scene to ever-greater heights.”
“On behalf of the 180 passionate employees at Seattle Fish, thank you, Colorado Restaurant Association, for our recognition as the 2021 Outstanding Allied Partner,” says Derek Figueroa, CEO & President of Seattle Fish Company. “Even in their darker days, our local restaurants continued to provide space for our communities to gather, celebrate, grieve, and instill a sense of normalcy. That resilience over the past two years has been nothing short of remarkable. It’s for those reasons that we are proud to receive this award and to have an opportunity to celebrate our fellow ISA industry leaders.”
Seattle Fish Company, along with the other award winners, were recognized at a ceremony that took place on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the Studio Loft at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
