When it comes to getting fresh seafood in the Rockies, nobody knows the industry like Seattle Fish Co. In 1918, Mose Iacino built a thriving business centered on ingenuity, customer service and quality seafood. Nearly a century later, Mose’s son, Edward Iacino, carries on the tradition as chairman, while his grandson, James Iacino, serves as president and CEO. Our owners and executive team hold a combined 135 years of experience in bringing delicious, fresh seafood to the communities in which we live and serve. And although Seattle Fish Co. has grown exponentially, we remain a family company at heart.

James Iacino

President & Chief Executive Officer
President and CEO James Iacino, grandson of Mose Iacino, founder of Seattle Fish Co., represents the third generation of the Iacino family. As president, James oversees the strategy and culture of Seattle Fish Co., and ensures that the company maintains its steadfast commitment to the principles that have guided the company for more than 90 years. Growing up in the business, James takes his role at Seattle Fish personally, working to sustain its top-tier status and continuing to deliver on its legacy of customer service and quality products. He’s a recognized leader within the industry, graduating from the National Fisheries Institute’s Future Leaders program, serving on the Cooking Matters Colorado board of advisors, and chairing Chefs Up Front, which raise funds to end childhood hunger in Colorado.

Derek Figueroa

Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Derek is responsible for the operational leadership of the company. A dedicated steward of the environment, Derek has worked to make Seattle Fish Co. a leader in sustainable fishing practices. He is also a tireless advocate for the seafood industry, both locally and nationally, and sits on the board of the National Fisheries Institute, the advisory board for Sea Pact. He is also a board member of the Colorado Restaurant Association, sitting on its executive committee. Derek also serves on the board of directors for Project Angel Heart and the Seafood Industry Research Fund.

Hamish Walker

Director of Purchasing
Hamish joins Seattle Fish from the brewing industry where he spent the last 25 years in a variety of procurement and sales leadership roles. Over that time he participated in the in the enormous change and global consolidation of the brewing industry. Most recently, he built and led a successful global procurement function for Molson Coors, integrating all spend for their expanding business across the Americas, Europe and Asia. He brings deep procurement knowledge, wide business acumen, and multiple experiences of bringing together teams and functions in a rapidly changing and expanding the business, building process and structure, and developing high performing teams.

Amanda Duran

Director of Sales
Amanda Duran comes with vast food-industry experience. Prior to joining the Seattle Fish Co. family, Amanda served as the Senior Director of Business Development for Niman Ranch, an all natural meat company. While at Niman, Amanda assisted in the growth of both food service and retail divisions. Prior to Niman Ranch Amanda worked with Premium Gold Angus Beef; in addition to, Harris Ranch both of which are in the natural beef segment. However, it was her time at Niman Ranch which helped to foster her understanding and passion for sustainable and humanely raised products. This enthusiasm now has a home at Seattle Fish Co. as Amanda dedicates her time to growing the company in the Rocky Mountain region.

Jason Cesario

Director of Operations
Jason is Seattle Fish Co.'s Director of Operations. His most recent experience comes from an operations manager role at Safeway. In his collective 15 years of distribution experience, he acted as a change agent for lean implementation and sustainability, decreasing operating expenses, fostering sound inventory practices, and assisting in the smooth transition to a zero-waste facility. Jason has a passion for employee engagement and ensuring the supply chain is functioning effectively to drive world class customer care.
