Seattle Fish Co. is a founding member of Sea Pact, a sustainability-focused non-profit of like-minded seafood distributors in North America. Sea Pact funds a variety of projects all over the world supporting fisheries and aquaculture operations that are focused on improving their sustainability. Earlier this month, Sea Pact announced the opening of their fourth request for grant proposals. The grants are geared to fund projects dealing with bycatch reduction, innovation in aquaculture, or social responsibility within the seafood supply chain.
