The year was 1918, and Denver was a bustling economic center of the Rocky Mountain region. The city inspired entrepreneurs, such as Italian immigrant Mose Iacino, whose family owned a meat store downtown. Mose noticed that the one thing missing from Denver’s markets was fresh seafood.
And so, in 1918, the young businessman began shipping fresh coastal seafood by train and selling his quality products from a stall inside the family store.
Freshness and flavor helped Mose expand his business, the Seattle Fish Company, and open his own store at 1537 Market Street™. Nearly a century later, exceptional seafood continues to be the driving passion for the Iacino family, whose company now delivers fresh seafood from around the globe.
