Corks and Forks: The third annual Corks and Forks event is taking place on August 9, 2009, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Omni Hotel in Broomfield. Denver Food and Wine: The fifth annual Denver Food and Wine event is taking place September 10 - 12 at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Several events are planned for the weekend, including cocktails and movies under the stars on Thursday, September 10; classic wine dinners at one of five Denver area restaurants on September 11; and the "Grand Tasting" event on Saturday, September 12.
